My mother would tell me to not blog angry, but I am going to. We are
working on integrating a few additional POS systems and it is a
difficult process. One POS company in particular has a client waiting
to use our product with their POS system and no one is being very
helpful for them or for us regarding the integration.
As a
business owner, I don't understand why someone wouldn't communicate
with their client. If you can't help, then tell them that, but don't
ignore them. Anyone building a POS system has to know that the data
will need to come out at some point for accounting or payroll at the
very least. Does it really need to be difficult and clumsy? I guess we
need a web 2.0 style POS product. I imagine it would not only look
good, but be easy to use, and of course be easy to integrate with. And
if I had any complaints I would just tweet them :)
